It provides comfort and warmth in a greater range of temperatures. It’s a little loose in the chest so great for layering. It does run long. I’m 5’4” and it’s a bit too long on me though I continue to wear it

My order tpr the Columbia Hooded Vest has been cancelled. This is not the first instance of such a situation occurring. I have yet to receive an explanation via email as to the reason behind this. Please strive to do better.

Really check the sizing before committing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The vest itself was bigger than I was hoping. I ordered my usual size and when I attempted to exchange for a smaller size, they were all sold out. Decided to keep it but I don’t feel as confident in the appearance as I’d hoped to be. That being said, it is super warm and comfortable. Even though it’s thinner, the reflective material really does the trick. The length is wonderful for keeping my legs warm while driving as well, which was an added benefit.

Favorite winter vest!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This long insulated vest is perfect for Trips to the store, my grandkids hockey games, or a walk in the woods! I love the long fit! Mid calf for me (5’8”) the XL is also perfect (210lbs). I’ve had black vests in the past and decided on Shale Purple with this one. The color is fabulous! Muted but rich. I found a pair of another name brand shearling lined clogs that match perfectly. I feel adorable in the whole ensemble. Thank you Columbia! I’ll be back soon for the black vest also 😉

Great material, perfect length if you're looking for something longer, super warm, pockets are big so its easy to fit your hands even if you are wearing a bulky sweater or sweatshirt & gloves. Also love the double zipper. I was looking for something that i could wear with my oversized sweatshirts and sweaters that would add warmth without feeling bulky in the car and shopping-this is exactly that! So nice! My normal size is L, I ordered a L and its perfect-still allows lots of room for layers so I would suggest ordering your regular size. Also, I'm 5'6" and it hits the middle of my shins.
