Jonie 22 Glovetanned Leather Bag

So dissapointed in how this beautiful Coach bag was shipped. In plastic bag, no tissue to protect the leather from belt buckles. Strap rolled up in a tangle. No dust bag or Coach box. This bag cost over $300 including tax and I planned to give it as a gift. For sure counted on a dust bag! I expected more attention to detail from Nordstrom shipping department.

This is actually the third time this has happened to me. I purchase a bag and I always get sent one that has been used and packed in a baggie. And these are baggies that are used at supermarkets for produce. I wanted to try one last time to see if I could get a brand new bag packaged in its original packaging but no. Nordstrom continues to disappoint sending bags that were purchased and returned then resold at sent to me in a baggie. Will be returning. Completely disappointed.

So disappointed! I was excited to pick up my online order from Nordstrom. I went to go pick it up and immediately returned it! I'm so glad I checked it in store. Purse came in a plastic bag! No dust bag, none of the hardware or straps were wrapped - worst part, the purse had a long scratch on one side! The purse was obviously used and returned!

Fantastic! Very smooth leather. Perfect size! Not too big, not too small: can fit phone, wallet, keys and some make up. Comes with longer strap but I prefer the shoulder strap. It’s not too short either! It’s just right if you put it on your shoulder or on your elbow. Well made hardware. Any color is nice for everyday wear. Highly recommend!

I purchased the Jonie 22 in Maple. It's an awesome bag, however, the bag was shipped in a plastic bag without the usual foam-like wrapper on things like the handles/zippers, etc. and when I inspected the bag, there were little white marks around the bag, and scuff marks. When I contacted CS about this, they could only offer a return since they did not have anymore in stock, or they could submit a damage report. I had them do the latter, and the damage report was denied within a day. I had never done a damage report before (nor did I know that they existed) and wanted to know why it was denied, I wasn't looking for a full refund, I was just curious and inquired about a partial refund so I could spend that on taking the bag to a cobbler to have repaired. They wrote back and just said I could return the bag, and offered no explanations or even a response to any of my questions. It's fine to not offer me a refund or partial refund, I am not owed that, but I feel like answering my questions wouldn't have been out of line so that I know what to do in the future and understand the process better. I don't shop at nordstrom often for various reasons and this just adds to why I never feel good about it. Bag is dope though, so if you can, buy it somewhere else.
