Brooklyn 39 Shoulder Bag

There are a lot of things I love about this bag: it's big, it's impressively lightweight, it's simple, and it's Coach. I knew as soon as I saw it that I would love it. It's easy to personalize with the two little d-rings that Coach has placed on it - genius! It has one button snap pocket along the back wall, and the bag itself closes via a secure magnetic snap. Is it a cavernous bag to dig into? Yep. Do I care? Nope. I carry only the bare essentials no matter what size bag I have. For me, it's about style more than practicality, although this bag is practical if you're looking to carry more than just the bare essentials. Overall: highly recommend. Coach hit it out of the park with this one.

The Brooklyn bag is the IT bag for this fall. This bag is so light and classic, while wearing it on your shouder it has the perfect slouch. A closet must have.

The leather is super soft, once it’s broken in it gives it a much better Hobo bag look. 15” laptop fits comfortably inside plus planner and book

I kept going back and forth about this bag but I’m so glad I bought it. The black leather is rich in color and soft and buttery in feel. Coach’s black leather is always just the right rich deep shade. The bag is lightweight and perfectly slouchy. There is a nice big pocket inside for things you need to hand quickly and everything else you can organize in pouches if you don’t want to dig around for things. It is a big bag, almost more like a tote bag, but it lays flat against your torso and isn’t heavy at all. There is a strong magnet to close it but your arm would protect it from pickpockets anyway just by the way it sits on your shoulder. I am 5’6” and the Brooklyn 39 is the perfect sized big bag for me. I have the Reformation Vittoria bag which I love too, both bags are the same price and close in size (Coach bag a few inches bigger), but the Coach leather is nicer and the magnet closure feels more secure.

I have this bag in the new honey color and it is droolworthy delicious. The leather starts out really stiff, but will gradually soften and develop a slouch and shine. I already applied a leather conditioner on this bad boy and I cannot wait for it to get soft. The bag of course, is huuuge. I can fit a full-sized scarf (rolled up), a reusable bottle, cosmetics pouch, etc with loads of room to spare. It can get heavy, though. Just a heads up. I highly recommend it!

I’m not usually a big bag person, in fact lately I’ve worn smaller crossbody bags but I got tired of having to tilt my head in order to wear the strap especially when I wear eyeglasses. I wanted a change. This bag is everything..it’s big can hold a lot including cosmetic bag, wallet, notebook and a book plus a water bottle,etc. I love that I can grab it fling it over my shoulder and go. Get it you won’t regret it!
