Clavel Hardside Carry-On Expandable Luggage with Spinner Wheels

The bag slides well on all four wheels with little effort, it is well made and looks nice, and it is small enough for international carryon. But a big drawback is that when you open the case with the top up, against a wall, for instance, the zippers for the compartments in the lid are placed near the hinge at the bottom rather than at the top. So when you open the zippers in the pockets, everything falls out! I have never ever seen that design before and it makes no sense to me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Who wouldn't love this carry-on luggage? It's so pretty. And peony is such a cute color. First off, it's a hard case spinner. It glides very smoothly. And it's lightweight, coming in at 5.3 lbs. It's also made of recyclable material. So who would object to that? And it also comes with a combo lock. I can't wait to go on my next trip.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own a handful of carry-ons and the 19” Clavel is definitely the lightest and best rolling one. The wheels are so awesome that it almost feels like it’s floating! The overall space and separate compartments are perfect. The zipper is a little difficult to use but definitely worth the effort since they describe it as “3 times more resistant to intrusion”. I’ve only used it a handful of times but it still looks and performs like new. It’s good to know though that if I have any problems it comes with a five year warranty. I highly recommend!

Not only is it a beautiful color (peony pink!) but the 19 inch suitcase is surprisingly spacious. One zippered side has a mesh storage area in the front. The other side has a elastic strap to hold items in place. There is an outer zipper to 'expand' the suitcase storage capacity. There is a handle on top that is stationary, but also a long one for walking with the suitcase rolling at your side. The four wheels are rubber and plastic and roll nicely through an airport or bus station, even along a sidewalk. There is a built in TSA friendly lock on the zipper, which for me is ideal because I do not have to go hunting for my lock. Perfect as a carry-on bag but large enough for many items!
