A large shaving brush with a silvertip badger head, ring size L (23 mm), on an olive wood handle — a generous head that holds plenty of lather for face-lathering. The wood is dried for months, turned, sanded, oil-sealed and polished to a silky finish that shows off its honey-coloured grain. Silvertip badger is the softest, most flexible grade: fine tapering hairs hold a great deal of water and build a dense, creamy lather. Bound and shaped by hand, so the tips are never trimmed and natural softness is retained.
