Classic Banned Books Set

The five books in this set are considered modern classics in the literature world but are some of communities' and governments' most frequently challenged books. They've been banned for approaching controversial topics, including religion and freedom of speech, and based on "moral corruption." Since their initial publication, these novels have inspired discussion, debate, and change in our society.  To showcase the common themes that connect these powerful works, we have designed a hand-sewn canvas book band that binds these novels into a single set. This book band proudly displays the books' shared attributes while still featuring the iconic original covers of each book. The books in this set are published by Little Brown, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Viking, Simon & Schuster, and Modern Library.
