Full Candle Safety Instructions Before You Light a Candle • Trim the wick to ¼ inch before each use to prevent high flames and soot. • Place candles on stable, heat-resistant surfaces away from anything flammable. • Keep candles out of reach of children and pets. • Avoid drafts — do not place candles near open windows, fans, or air vents. While the Candle is Burning • Never leave a burning candle unattended. • Keep candles at least 12 inches away from curtains, bedding, books, and other flammable items. • Do not move a candle while the wax is liquid. • Use candle holders that are sturdy and will not tip over easily. Extinguishing a Candle • Use a snuffer or gently blow out the flame — never use water. • Ensure the wick is fully extinguished. • Do not touch or move the candle until the wax has completely cooled.
