Marble Stripe Indoor/Outdoor Runner

The colors are very vibrant, as pictured. But nothing in the photos or descriptions prepared me for how shiny these mats are. I was hoping to put them in the kitchen, but they reflect the light so intensely that the overall effect screams "synthetic" and, well, cheap. I had to banish them to the back deck, where they look much better, but I would have chosen a different size and color if that had been the plan. Some textures probably have more sheen than others, but there is no way to tell that from the photos and descriptions.

Bought this a year ago and we've using in the kitchen under the sink and dishwasher. It does protect the floor but it is difficult to clean because dirt/crumbs get embedded in the little loops. You have to take it outside and hit it with a high pressure hose. The corners of the mat are starting to fray due to high traffic. I will be replacing with something from a different brand.
