Chasm 70L Duffle Bag

I bought my Thule Chasm (70L size) last month. Its a terrific bag. While technically too large for carry on, if its not stuffed and using the compression straps, I have easily fit it into overhead bins without offending anyone on an airplane. With the detachable shoulder straps I found it to be a very comfortable load on my back. It seemed to conform to my shoulders and lower back very well, and better than other backpackable bags I have used. The internal mesh organizing pockets are well designed and have ample capacity for electronics, toiletries, laundry etc. And the overall design is attractive. The bag is so nice, I was worried about throwing it in the back of my truck or into checked luggage, so I supplemented it with a pack duffel from REI. Its inexpensive and is basically a sack for your backpack so it doesnt get abused in checked baggage.
