Merry Waterproof Lug Sole Penny Loafer

I really wanted to love these shoes, but I found them a little large overall, and way too wide in the heel. Even sizing down a half-size won't fix that. I do not have unusually narrow feet. The color is pretty, but not as dark a navy as shown in the photos. More of a medium-dark slate blue. Unfortunately, will be returning.

I like the wider toe box than some others from this brand. Very comfortable - will be super useful loafers.

Yeah, they run large and long for my 7.5 normal shoe size. Slip right off! Can’t walk in them. I thought I’d like Navy Aquatalia but they don’t “represent”! Based on reading previous warnings, I also ordered a pair of Champagne in 7.0, and keeping them. This lighter color shows the thread detail, which is a highlight. However, the pair could have been a return . They weren’t packed with tissue padding, and shown light fading. Sort of. Don’t look exactly color “rich” as onscreen. Passed on it at first glance, until going back to try the size (7.0), and deciding on them rather than the dark Navy. I can still wear socks with these 7.0.

A beautiful pair of waterproof suede shoes, as would be expected from Aquatalia. I ordered during the sale on tax free weekend, and sized up to an 8.5 per the suggestion that these run small. They were huge. I should've exchanged for a 7.5, a size I rarely buy, but went with my 90% of the time size, and 8. I usually only order 7.5 in American brands that tend to run wider and larger. SW and any European brand I'm always an 8. Anyway-8 is still quite large and now I'm debating if I want to go through the exchange and try and get a price adjustment. I've lost out on the tax free benefit.

Ordered a 1/2 size large as per advice provided and these are now too big but hoping my size comes back in stock so I can exchange.

I ordered these shoes based on the description that said runs narrow so order up a size. Not true! When the shoes arrived I tried them on and they are way too big! The description said runs narrow so order up a size. They are like boats on me! I already own 4 pairs of Aquatalia shoes/boots that I absolutely love for the comfort and stability when walking on slippery or uneven surfaces. I know the brand well. HIGHLY disappointed with Nordstrom and their advice. These will have to go back which is a huge inconvenience due to where I live.
