love the feel but not the color
The feel is amazing, very moisturizing and I love the case however the color didn’t work for me. Even though it’s sheer, it’s very pale and having pink lips myself it just made them paler and not complementary for me. Maybe it will work under a lipstick or for someone else. Some kind of frosty pink, I prefer more of a natural/rose sheer color. I hope they will come up with that soon.

It's not a balm, it's a gloss
For the price I was expecting way more. I wanted a balm with a hint of color that I could wear bare or under lipstick. This is not it. It's way too glossy and slippery to wear under lipstick. Packaging is beautiful but it's a no for me.

This item is 55 but on Chantecaille site 45....
Nordstroms listed this as 55 and 15% of it would be 46.75. But the cost is really 45.00 on the Chantecaille site so this is not accurate and misleading.
At 45 this item should be 38.25.
I give this product 5 stars but not the sale.

Feels great! Previous review inaccurate
Previous review states this product is less on the Chantecaille site, but it is not. Review was comparing two different items. Lip Chic is $45 (at both Nordstrom and Chantecaille). This product, the Rose de Mai lip balm is $55, again on both sites. And both products are wonderful on my very dry Colorado lips.

super hydrating
I’m pleasantly surprised at how hydrating this is balm is. My lips are constantly dry, so I’m constantly on the lookout for a lip balm that is lasting and hydrating. This one has a nice light texture that isn’t too sticky like a lot of other balms, but my lips feel smooth and refreshed hours later. The color is sheer enough that I don’t feel like it shows up, which I’m very happy about.

Great under lipstick
Didn’t care for it on its own so I put it on under other lipstick and it’s awesome. Lipstick will never dry your lips out with this!
