My new favorite
I love red lipsticks, but they always look garish on me, until now. Message is a soft, muted red that perfectly complements my light skin and dark hair. The formula feels like lip balm. It is best applied with a brush for sharp, clean liplines. It does not dry out my lips, but since it is so moisturizing, you need to reapply throughout the day and check the mirror often too. No kissing!

Twist up applicator broke within 1 week of purchase. Also, lipstick is very sticky and feels greasy on your lips.

Very pigmented, too slippery
I bought three shades to try: Histoire, Roman and Message and I only kept Message. The formula is extremely pigmented, but it turned up to be too slippery and difficult to control for me and it requires a lip brush for getting clean, perfect edges. You must apply a very, very thin layer, otherwise the color will go everywhere (the first time I applied Roman, it gathered on the inside of my lips and in the corners of my mouth).
It's not my favorite formula from Chanel, and despite being very glossy and watery, I didn't find it moisturizing.
I only kept Message because it's a perfect red for everyday.
The pictures I'm posting are of heavy swatches, I don't recommend using this much product on your lips.

Pricey lip balm
Love the color, coverage, and feel, but disappeared within an hour. It would need to constantly be reapplied. Way too pricey for that.

An amazing product
I have loved the colors of the Chanel line, but had chosen other products for a better moisturizing formula. Also, the staying power of their lipsticks and glosses was less than long. So how wonderful that they created a lip product that is moisture-packed, long lasting and still has their fantastic pigments of color. I hope that they expand the line to offer some additional colors, but right now the Lettre is perfect for summer and my coloring.

The lipstick I will keep forever
I normally use matte lip stain and lip gloss, never a lipstick person. This all changed the moment I tried on this new chanel lip stick at nordstrom. It is so comfortable to wear, super moistusing and the color of 216 really brightened my skin. I was in love instantly, the Chanel counter did run out most of the colors so The sales lady ordered it for me online. I got it after 2 days, and I've been using it everyday! BTW,It wears off beautifully too! Usually after couple hours of applying, the glossiness goes away, it does leaves this beautiful, natural nude- pink colo on my lips that I love. I recommeded it to all the ladies in my office, nobody was disappointed.
