the best
Great colors saturation, no flaking or smudging, stays till I take it off. Anytime I cheat on it to try "the newest thing" I regret it. Works for me and my over 60 eyes. Tip-goes on wet but once dry it is bullet proof. I use brief blast of cool setting on hair dryer to set it (as well as undereye corrector) before applying shadow, liner etc.

dont buy this
Literally the worst mascara I have ever bought. It's like trying to apply mascara with a stick. Doesn't volumize, just sticks all lashes together.

Does What It Says, Kinda.
I have tried most every department store mascara available. I found DiorShow to be the pinnacle of volumizing and achieving that "fake eyelashes look". I went out on a limb and tried Chanel's to see how it compared. The brush cakes easily and it doesn't feel like it's separating your lashes, just using the surface of the caked brush to comb the mascara on lightly. It doesn't penetrate to the base of your lashes. Conclusion: Buy DiorShow Waterproof mascara.

Amazing
I was given a free sample of this product. After chemo, my eyelashes were sparse and fine. Nothing really seemed to help. This mascara is amazing. It makes my lashes look thick and full. I have purchased it in regular and waterproof and it's my new everyday mascara. Thank you Chanel!

Clump-free, but lacked pre-curled lashes.
I tried this mascara recently, and I have to say that it's perfect for providing subtle, yet beautiful, voluminous and clump-free lashes. It really helps define the lashes while keeping them soft all day, given many waterproof formulas make them stiff. It doesn't flake throughout the day, which is also nice. However, my only issue it that it doesn't keep my pre-curled lashes curled. I have stick-straight eyelashes, and although it doesn't make them stick-straight after application, it doesn't keep them nicely curled either.

Worth the Money
I am a drugstore mascara devotee. That being said, I decided to bust for this while purchasing a Chanel lipstick recently. This product is well worth the money. In just a few swipes, my lashes were thick and upswept. It made my eyes "pop." There is a lot of product on the brush due to its unique design, so a little goes a long way. I purchased it in black and am loving it!

Disappointing
I am absolutely in love with the original Le Volume formula and the waterproof just did not hold up. It started flaking within an hour and by the end of the day was all over my face.
