Ceylon Reversible Leather Belt

The leather is gorgeous and soft, and the buckle is beautiful. However, it is nearly impossible to flip the buckle around close it again because you have to shove both the end of the belt and the little bit that holds the leather loops into the buckle end. Took me 15 minutes. The bit on the back that holds the leather loops in place is also SO thin and flimsy! There’s no way it wouldn’t snap within a few wears.

This belt is incredible and is an absolute staple in every wardrobe. I wasn’t a belt person— at all, but this classic belt pulls so many outfits together and gives that polished look. I was shocked at how much it makes a difference! The fact that you get two belts in one (black and brown) makes this belt worth the price tag. If you have only one belt in your wardrobe, this would be the belt to last you a lifetime and be continually used. The logo is not obnoxious, the size of the strap is perfect, not too big not too small. Okay. Now the reviews about the clasp and switching the belt sides— BUNK. It work smooth like butter, super easy. Lift the clasp, insert the belt, no shoving, not difficult. At all. Do not fret about that at all, it’s a non issue. Perhaps they received a defective belt… So return it and get a new one that works. I love this belt and wasn’t expecting to!!

I read a couple reviews saying it is difficult to swap the buckle from one side to the other and almost didn’t purchase - it’s not difficult! THE KEY is NOT removing that little black thing in my photo that loops around the two leather bands. It seems like something you should discard but definitely do NOT. When you push up the gold piece to slide the belt out (to turn it over to show the other color), you need to also slide off that black thing along with the two leather bands that it is connected to and then slide it back onto the belt. Then, wrap just the tip of it a little over the end of the belt to keep everything together and then slide it back into the gold piece and clamp it back down. I know this sounds confusing but when you are holding the belt, you’ll see what I mean. Literally takes 3 seconds to do it. Oh, and the belt fits and looks great! :)

This is a great belt, love the size, that its reversible and soft durable leather. Even better that Nordstrom had a sale on Salvatore Ferragamo! A little tricky when you take off the buckle to get all leather pieces back in at once but once you figure that out its perfect. Would highly recommend.
