Cassandre Matelassé Leather Card Case

I finally bought this after looking at it for months and comparing it to other designer card cases. I chose this one because it has the most card slots for the price and quality. I've had it for 6 months now and I'm so happy with it! The sticking is so beautifully done, there is no fraying and the leather is SO durable. No scratches, scuffs or marks of any kind show up on this grained leather. I haven't had any scratches on the metal logo either. I love cardholders over long wallets as they allow me to stuff my bag with more stuff and easily move it bag to bag or just take it with me to run errands. Overall, if you're looking for a designer cardholder, I highly recommend this one. The quality is superb and will last a long time, as will the design.

Highly disappointed. First and foremost, the packaging is horrible. You would think paying this price for a “designer” it would be packaged nicely and come with the actual Saint Laurent box and card. Notice how I put designer in quotation marks because what I received was not authentic. The “YSL” gold hardware is small which it shouldn’t be. It should be thicker with more weight to it. The authentic logo has a distinct font and precise lettering. The lettering in what I received is very big and looks off. I purchased the same card case from Bloomingdale’s and very huge difference and that one it authentic. Definitely sending this one from Nordstrom back.
