Cashmere Throw Blanket

I ordered this blanket at the price of $299, but when I received it there was a tag on it that read $148. I wasn't sure what the error was, so I called to ask to have the price adjusted to the price on the tag thinking it would be no problem. I was surprised when the answer was no. I didn't actually understand what exactly the issue was because the explanation was poor, something about the sku didn't match?? He said it was from before?? My guess is someone forgot to switch it from the Anniversary Sale and they won't honor it even though it's Nordstom's error that it was shipped to me with the incorrect price. That's not how Nordstrom customer service was in the past. So now I'm returning the item. I've been a long time cutomer. I'm at an Ambassador level currently and most likely would hit Icon level as I usually do, because I shop with them a lot. Needless to say this is very disappointing and I'll think twice about shopping here as much after this encounter. The blanket seems nice otherwise, but it's now going back.

Nordstrom label cashmere has really expanded their product line and continued their high quality. I thought this would be along the lines of their latest sweaters—lightweight, soft and warm. I was disappointed because it did not have the lightweight quality I was expecting. This blanket is really heavy…like a heavy cotton blanket, not like a top quality cashmere.
