Carleton Diamond Quilted Down Jacket

This Carleton jacket is excellent I really wanted to like it. But as a previous reviewer stated, it leaks feathers terribly, absolutely unbearable as it is, without continuous maintenance. I went back to Nordstroms and was lucky, the ralph lauren rep "Drew", I demo'd the dysfunctional feathers problem, Drew brought out a new Carleton jacket, it had leakage just like mine. Mr Drew requested me to formally email him with an explanation, the email/contact# he gave me is/was dead end- No Resolution, ghosted! I see I'm just one of the reviewers not happy with RL over a $3,000 jacket. Unbelievable! I cannot pass this jacket on to family, or (cost) to goodwill. So, I'm frustrated as it sits in back of my closet. "" DO NOT PURCHASE""... Thanks for your attention, Darnell Smith, Seattle NOTE: originally purchased through my Son while he was in Miami, ~1yr ago... I've worn it 3 times, discusted in Seattle.

Really wanted to give this jacket 5 stars as it's almost the perfect quilted jacket. Very warm and roomy enough for layering, but not boxy. Zippers and button feel sturdy and the navy is easy to pair with outfits. The reason it misses out on a perfect score is that the down feathers come out from everywhere, with every little bit of movement. If anyone has any tips on how to mitigate this issue I'm all ears.
