Canopy Linen Blend Button-Front Dress Made with Organic Cotton

Love this dress so much! Its so versatile and a year-round staple for me—wear it with a sweater over or turtleneck under and booties in the winter and sandals in the summer. I did have to get the top tailored b/c I have a 1-2 size difference between my bust and my hips (XL-1X on top and 2X-3X on bottom). It fits my hips perfectly tho with no gaping or pulling and that's most important to me.

Arrived torn and missing a button (see photo). Awful quality, wish I could return it. The fabric is thinner than expected, and even with the black color the skirt area is partially see-through when backlit. As for sizing, I ordered a Small and it fit exactly, with no extra room. My measurements are 36" bust and 29" waist.

I joke that this is my “school marm dress” but it’s honestly so cute. It’s a classic and timeless piece that can be dressed up or down. The fitted area of the bodice is a nice feminine detail and the pockets give this dress a nice flare near the hips that gives someone with a straight build like me more of an hourglass shape which I was so pleasantly surprised by! This is a less soft cotton-linen fabric, so keep in mind the stretch is limited but these back elastic ruching helps and is quite pretty. The one problem I have with this dress is that even on myself at 5’8, the dress hits at mid calf. The model in the photo must be super tall for it to fit below or at knee level. I’ll probably need to get it hemmed to get the look I’m actually going for— it’s a bit of an awkward long midi length as is, but these flattering fit for someone who is a size XL makes it worth it regardless.
