Worth every penny
My love affair with Camper shoes continues. I bought my first pair over 20 years ago. Just a shame the business didn't survive in New Zealand. These are super comfy, and so for not as difficult to keep clean as I imagined.

Quality Assurance - Hopefully not
I like the look, and I have 5 pairs of these "beetle" version, the hydro nubuck, 3 leather brown, orange, and black, and now these with the mesh. As I live in Texas its Hot! So I figured these
would be good for summer. However, after wearing them a few times, I noticed that the lace bands were smaller/thinner than the hydro nubuck, and they don't provide the same snug/secure fit. Finally, on the right shoe, the top band seemed loose, and after tugging on it a few times, it separated from the bottom, making it even looser. I've never had any issues with any of my campers before this. Hopefully its just a one-off. Will return these for replacement and try again.
