Gorgeous scent
Just bought our first house and wanted to get myself a house warming present. Picked this up in the sale since I could not justify buying it full price. Blind bought it hoping I would like the scent. The slick, black candle is visually stunning and the fragrance from the candle is so comforting and unique. I wish my home could smell like this all the time. Perfect for the colder months due to the spicy and nutty but fresh aroma. Not over powering at all. Overall, I would highly recommend this fancy candle.

not as spicy as I was expecting
This candle isn’t bad but from the description I was expecting something a little ‘spicier’. This candle has a deep, warm, sweet scent. Almost like a sticky maple syrup smell. The bourbon vanilla is definitely forward and the black peppercorn, coriander, sesame, and sandalwood definitely take a back seat, but are not totally undetectable. I typically like musky/spicy/autumnal deep scents so I thought this would work for me. I’m not a fan of super stron smells so I found the throw to be adequate for my space (400sq ft). Also, I purchased this scent because the biblioteque was out of stock. I later purchased biblioteque and was much happier with that scent. I still light this candle from time to time but will not purchase it again.

Great spa like scent
Nice earthy spa like scent, reminds me of a earthy woodsy natural smell spa vibe. If you dont like those kinds of smells then id prob stay away from this! Also compared to other luxury candles like creed, diptyque and jo malone this seems more fairly priced and still luxurious!

warming
I really like this fragrance. It's sweet, warming, cozy So it's sort of good for winter and autumn. But it's a bit too subtle.for my liking, and I prefer my candles to pack a punch. we'll see. have only burned it once or twice. Some candles get stronger as they burn down... stronger than some byredos though, like cotton poplin

Elegant scent
I blind bought this candle as I had heard great things about the scent and I am pleased to say that it didn’t disappoint. The scent is not your typical floral or sickly scent but a warm wintery amber with a hint of spice which is perfect for colder nights at this time of year. It’s not too strong but leaves a lovely lingering smell in the room once it’s out. Will definitely buy again.
