Refined Casual Perfection!
I'm a huge Bugatchi OoohCotton stretch/performance shirt fan (ones with the 8% nylon blend). This is my first 100% cotton shirt from Bugatchi. I absolutely love it. It's always hard to justify a $199 shirt, but I got this on a Black-Friday 30% off deal, so I ended up paying about $150. Was it worth it? Well it's a freaking great shirt. The super soft 100% cotton fabric moves and drapes so well, has a subtle attractive sheen. Instantly recognizable as a high-end casual shirt. Perfect for looking upscale, but relaxed/cool at a bar/lounge or on a date-night. You could also wear this to the office, but for me I have plenty of work-wear OoohCotton Bugatchi shirts, so I'll use this a a "night out" shirt. For reference I'm an athletic build, 195lb 6'0 with a 43" chest, and 18" shoulder to shoulder. In the OoohCotton Stretch shirts, I wear a Medium. But I knew this 100% cotton wouldn't stretch, so I went with the large on this. Great call. The Large (Shaped fit) fits me really well...but I may get the hem slightly shortened by an inch and a half...it's just a tough longer than I prefer. But the sleeves are great.
The fabric is insanely good. I really hope Bugatchi learns from this shirt and fabric weave and creates more of these premium cotton type of shirts.
