Brussels 3 Piece Hardside Luggage Set with Expansion

Called Nordstrom.com re: Bugatti 3 piece luggage set lock missing a key to open the set. When I asked for a solution, such as mailing another key to solve the problem (saw the set yesterday displayed in Bellevue) I was informed that “as the set is not a Nordstrom product, and is instead a “marketplace“ product, their hands are tied.” I love marketplace items, but if Nordstroms “hands are tied” when the buyer needs help fixing a problem with an item, then marketplace items shouldn’t be at Nordstrom. Look, I’m team Nordstrom 100% - really glad the Nordstrom brothers were able to buy back its stock, making it a privately owned company where they have more product control, because let’s admit, before they got back control the buyers stocking the racks and most of the Nordstrom’s near me, weren’t considering the majority of their shoppers needs; poor materials, bad stitching, and quality control at its worse. It is my hope that they can stay competitive without losing their legacy of top notch customer care b/c in the Pacific Northwest, stores like Costco, Nordstrom, Filson, & Sur La Table, Customer Service is what sets them apart from others. I understand that times have changed, and so will my future purchasing habits. I’m going to be more diligent to identify marketplace items so that I’m aware “NOT” to expect anything from Nordstrom in terms of immediate assistance in finding a resolution, because “it’s out of Nordstrom’s hands.” And if I’m buying from Nordstrom because of their legacy in top notch customer care, and have to fight for help, why buy it?

We have now taken these suitcases on three trips. The inner zippers tore on two of the three the first trip but were still usable at the time. Those have just continued to shred to the point that those pockets are no longer usable after this third trip. Our outer zippers finally broke on this trip as well, so these suitcases are now completely unusable.
