Great shoe with a lot of upgrades from previous model

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a pair or two of the old Cascadia and it was a very good shoe. This one improves from the original Cascadia in cushioning, stability , maybe not quite as flexible but I think that contributes to the stability a little.. I hike and run on very rough trails and this shoes does very well…. I had a pair of the Catamounts and they were very good too but not as much cushioning … and not quite as stable… both good shoes but the new Cascadia 20 wins for me …

Massive step backwards

Why have we reduced the amount of toe box space? The shoe is tight and uncomfortable. Long time Cascadia wearer, so this is disappointing.

Great trail shoe

I bought these a month ago and they have been great on the hikes I've been on. Very comfortable and sturdy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have worn brooks trail shoes to hike in for years. This Cascadia 20 is a great shoe. Much more cushion and not as stiff as the 19. Feels great right out of the box. The Vibram sole is a really fantastic addition and gives fantastic traction and a secure feel on the trail.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Cascadia 20. Support, cushion, weight. And I think the colour combo is cool! One thing I need help with: One of the laces had a tight knot in it and I can't undo it. That's how it came out of the box. Please send me a new lace to 311 NW 193rd Court Shoreline WA 98177. Thanks, Ian (been a fan of Brooks since May 2004)

Brooks Cascadia 20

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Previously having run in the Cascadia 17's, I have found the 20's to offer much more in the way of grip and also less initial breakdown of that grip. Apart from that, I see them as the same quality as most Brooks trail running shoes
