OR changed their sizing and didn't tell us!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have been buying OR and these shorts for years, just ordered 4 more new pair of 36" and they are almost 2" smaller in the waist than all of my previous OR 36" purchases. Also returned 2 new shirts because of sizing as well. Then was forced to spend the extra $28 to expedite 38" to get them in time for my travels. Now am afraid of ordering anything more from OR.

Not what they used to be.
Cheaper quality, not as stretchy, inconsistent fit through the same sizes. Feel and fit cheaper than they used to. Used to recommend these to everyone, and will probably be tossing my most recent pair.

My favorite shorts!
The Ferrosi 10" shorts are amazing and (by far) the best hiking/casual short I've ever owned.

Great Shorts but Early pilling of the fabric
I like the shorts. They fit true to size and are comfortable. The only thing I have against them is that the fabric pilled around the pockets the first time I wore them.
