too loose

i am an 8 and my feet would not stay in size 8. swimming. i ordered the 7.5 and my feet would still not stay in the shoe. i have not tried the 7, but i am not sure they are worth the $$$. they seemed like they would be comfortable if they actually fit and stay on your foot. ive seen similar styles with a buckle/strap and that actually might be needed because the mesh cotton has no grasping power. loosey goosey. i returned
