Emmaretta Floral Pleated Cotton Voile Maxi Dress

I’ve seen the brand online and have thought the dresses were beautiful. The print on this dress is no exception. And while I know it’s Dôen’s thing for the dresses to be unlined, it just doesn’t justify the ridiculous price tag. I mean the quality just is t there due to the lack of lining and at the end of the day, it’s a sheer cotton dress. If it was $75-100 I may have kept it because I really did like it and the fit was great but I just couldn’t.

100% agree with the prior reviewer commenting on the lack of lining and overall overpriced dress. This dress is super cute, and the print is fun and perfect for summer/early fall. The straps aren't overly ruffled so decently avoids that tradwife, matronly vibe many nap dresses have these days. But the price is way too high for how thin the material is. It looks great on my short, hourglass figure. I have a large bust (38DDD) and a very post-partum figure currently, and I appreciated having drawstrings that actually functioned to adjust the fit of the bust and waist. But I think this is a solid $150-200 too expensive for that feature. I'm returning it.

This dress is quite pretty, mostly due to the cute print and bodice. However, the construction didn't seem to match the price. The straps are elastic but pretty long, and if they stretch out at all they'd fall off my shoulders. Also, while the bodice was nicely stitched, the bottom hem was done pretty sloppily. Uneven folding and not completely sewn shut. If you are between sizes, probably size down due to the looseness of the elastic. Unfortunately, I ended up returning this dress.
