Boston Genuine Shearling Clog

Just came in the .mail and at 76 yo, with old feet, lol, these Birks were perfect. I slipped them on the way to the doctor's office, and now I'm wearing them as house slippers. Worth the $$$.

I received a different style of Birkenstocks (the unlined ones) and decided to exchange them for the shearling version, which I was happy to see back in stock! These are very comfortable, cozy, and stylish, but they are more snug, due to the lining and the fact that I wear them with socks. For reference, I am a true size 9M in shoes. In the unlined Birkenstock Boston, my size is 41, but in the shearling model, I needed a size 42!

My usual shoe size is a women’s 9M (not wide). In regular (not lined) Birkenstock Boston clog, I take a size 41, which correlates to a women’s size 10. In these shearling lined clogs, the size 41 was way too snug, so I had to size up to a 42, which correlates to women’s size 11. Please note that I do wear socks with these.

"Shearling comes from young lambs and has the leather and wool attached, offering superior softness and warmth." I did not realize this when I bought these shoes. I guess I though that shearling could be manufactured. They are very comfortable but I can't wear something from a young lamb.

My second pair- I wear them as slippers. I need a proper footbed now to combat foot pain and Berks do the trick. Love the shearling lining!!!!

I LOVE these Birks!! I need a shoe with a high arch and Birks always deliver. The shearling lining is not only stylin' but SO comfy!
