'Bashina' Stretch Poplin Shirt

I loved this blouse due to the fitted shape with zippers and the crisp, neat look. However the fabric ripped In the chest and abdomen area after I ironed it for my business trip in my hotel room last night. I didn’t burn it - it just had slits in the fabric in a couple of places. The label stated that ironing was Ok. I didn’t have anything else packed to wear to the meeting but fortunately had a jacket and scarf to camouflage the rips. So disappointed, I loved the fit!

I am very busty although pretty small everywhere else, which makes it very difficult for me to find button down type shirts. This is literally the first button down shirt I have ever tried that actually fit and didn't require extra pinning or tailoring. There are actually no buttons, it's just sewn closed in the front so that there isn't any gapping between buttons that can allow a window into your shirt from the side. Instead, there are two zippers on the sides. It fits perfectly, and is very flattering. Although it is more than I was looking to spend, I was willing to pay extra for a shirt that actually fit that I wouldn't need to pin strategically. This shirt is actually made for women, as opposed to a men's shirt crudely adapted like all the others. I had to get a size up because my normal size was pretty tight and not very professional.

I loved this shirt when I tried it on in the store, but once I got home, I realized this shirt is see-through, thin, and the material is too sensitive. I wanted to wear it one day and lightly used the steamer....and I ended up melting the fabric. It was a total waste of money. What I did love about it was the side zippers, perfect for work.
