Essential severe-weather boots!
I'm on the hunt for winter boots that can handle snow and backcountry conditions but still transition well into the village/city setting and are light enough to wear all day. I know a lot about dressing for snow, and these boots are coming with me to Sweden, baby! They are warm. They are light. They are stylish. They give great arch support! The don't need any breaking in. they have traction. I could wear these all day, and they feel like Uggs inside. Bos. and Co know their stuff.
I first went for the new Joan of the Arctic boots by Sorel - that brand has been my go-to for all snow-weather shoes. They are beautiful boots too, and there is a reason they are in all the magazines now. However, they just did not fit my arch, as much as I tried to fake a good fit. They were not my glass slipper.
Therefore, I am so happy that I found these babies through Nordstrom.

terrible quality for the price
the lining inside is very thin so it doesn't provide much warmth. Also, the white color gets dirty really easily. wore it out only once and they look terrible now. I only wear white boots, so I am familiar with the level of caution required to maintain them. however, these boots have gotten dirty exceptionally fast due to the material they are made of.

Warm and Hearty for the winter but sizing beware.
Great boot for winter. Wool lined, waterproof and sturdy sole will help navigate cold, wet and snow, but not a heavy boot. Love the laces in back to adjust calf width. I have narrow calves so this is helpful! This years version seem to run smaller and narrower in the foot. I upsized from my usual 37 in my old Bos & co boots to 38 to accommodate winter sock comfortably. I have normal to slightly narrow foot.

Warm sassy boots for skinny legs!
The perfect snow and winter boot! I am usually a 7 or 7.5 depending on the shoe and a 7.5 fit perfectly. These boots are best for narrow calves and skinny legs and feet. FINALLY a boot that fits me like a glove. I have worn these in 3 feet of fresh powder and on hard pack ice and they have great traction. Also, these babies are WARM. I don't even need to wear wool socks with them. Super easy to take on and off. Yes, you get a little bit of wool on your pants from time to time, but it's no big deal. I've been wearing these since November and wish they had more colors. They are my go-to winter boot. LOVE the quality and fit. Worth every penny.

Beautiful, cozy and rugged
Oh, I do love these! They are SO beautiful, with the different materials and colors (I got the brown color). I got a size 40 (I typically wear 9 in boots), and I believe it is wide enough for my not-so-wide foot. Length is perfect. Feels cozy and rugged, and i LOVE that the calf/shaft ties up to show off my skinny calves. I typically have issues with boot shafts being too wide. These are totally adjustable.

Beautiful alternative to traditional snow boot
Got for ski trip to Italy, wanted to look a little more Sophisticated than the ugly duckling boot. Thought it’d transitioned well from ski to city. Beautiful quality, super soft inside, seems very warm, and comfortable from the get go. Very fashionable. Just a little too much lugg for my liking, but overall very classy
