Ofira 14K Gold Chain Link Necklace

I received this 20" gold necklace as a Christmas gift from my husband. It is very beautiful, I love it and seems so far to be of good quality. However, he'd made a small comment that "considering the price" he was surprised at how cheap the packaging seemed. It only came in a little soft grey pouch and I could've swore it said "made in China" on the tag when I cut it off but I am not 100% sure. The necklace itself does say "Italy". I'll admit, my curiosity got the better of me today and I looked it up to find the price. Wow! I agree that for the price, the packaging should really be better.

But what many don’t realize is that when it comes to dainty jewelry, it’s actually more challenging to craft. The lighter and smaller a piece is, the more intricate and detailed the work has to be to make it look this luxurious and beautiful. This kind of craftsmanship requires immense skill, and that’s exactly what you’re paying for—not just the weight of the gold, but the effort and expertise that goes into creating a piece that pairs seamlessly with other luxury brands. If you compare it to other brands you might find heavier gold necklaces at a similar price point, but they often lack the elegance and refinement. The trend is to wear jewelry that’s dainty yet exudes an expensive and luxurious vibe. With Bony Levy, that’s exactly what you get. I had a similar necklace as part of a set from Anthro and found myself wearing it all of the time until it tarnished. I decided at that moment that I wanted to get a real one I could wear year round and with another simple necklace I never take off. I came across this and bought it without hesitation! So many other replicas at varying price points from other designers but there is something about this one, the weight, the right color, elegance that makes it stand out from all of the others.
