Faux Leather Moto Jacket

I own several BLANKNYC jackets and love the fit, look and price point. I recently bought this specific style in black and liked it so much, I purchased a second one in the same style but in the color On The Rocks, which online appears to be white or off white. (Left image) I could have lived with either. However, upon arrival, the color is neither — it is a dirty dingy white or grayish tone. (Right image - photographed against cream background)

I was so excited about this jacket and loved how it looks in pictures. I read a review or 2 that said it was really shiny, but the remainder of the reviews were good, so I purchased. Upon receiving the jacket, I knew I should've listened to the other reviews because the jacket was SO SHINY. It appears matte in all of the photos, but it is quite the opposite. It fit really well though, so if you're okay with shiny, it's a good product with good price point.

This jacket is gorgeous. Some reviews say it is shiny, but I suspect that may be other colors previously available. I got the black and it looks exactly like the picture. It, frankly, looks like real, high quality leather. I love the black hardware, as that subtle detail ensures I don't have to worry about looking like Fonzie. Also, I love that the back of the jacket is not as short as some others--just that little extra inch or two makes it so much more wearable. The only thing wrong with this jacket is that it runs small around the mid-section. I got a size L, as I have large shoulders and wear about a size 12 these days, although I fit into a lot of size M clothes. This size L just fits in the shoulders, but there would be no hope of zipping it up. That's okay with me because I never intend to wear it zipped, and the cut, being somewhat trim, gives a really flattering illusion of a trimmer waistline. Love and adore it, but if you want true outerwear you can zip up against the cold, definitely size up.

I never thought I would get a faux leather jacket but really liked black on black style. My jacket just arrived and I love it. Just like it is on the pictures, not shiny. Fit is true to size but the arms might be tight with thick sweaters. I’m petite and usually size 4 in bottoms and XS/S in tops and got S one. Arm length is okay for me so if you have long arms, it might be slightly short on you. Overall, really happy with my purchase, great price on sale.

I love this jacket! It looks like real leather and doesn’t have that plastic look some faux do. The black zippers/snaps make it not so flashy like gold. I’m 5’6 125 and medium fits perfectly.

I'm loving this jacket. I've been looking for a faux leather jacket for quite a while. I like the hip length, the moto styling, and the slightly tapered shape. I especially like that all the moto details (snaps and zippers) are black, so that the jacket feels classier and less trendy than if they were silver. The jacket is a medium weight and is comfortable to wear. One minus; the sleeves are too long for me, which never happens because I have long arms. But I'm happy to live with it for a great faux leather jacket. I did have to size up; I always take a small, but I had to go to a medium to get enough room in the shoulders. Maybe that's why the sleeves are long.
