Blair Slip-On Sneaker (Women)

Like other reviewers, I love this shoe's style and comfort. I have two pairs of these shoes and they're always the first ones I reach for. However, after 12 to 18 months of frequent wear, the sole is worn through enough to expose the inner "grid" of the shoe's construction. The upper is in near-perfect shape, but I had to discard the shoes because the sole cannot be easily repaired. I would not buy these shoes again; I'm going for a cheaper option so I won't be so bothered when the sole wears out before the upper does.

Pros: Great style, very comfortable, the perforated upper has an interior protection so makes it a bit more 'winter' friendly of a shoe. They do run a bit large - I'm usually a 9, but 8.5 was perfect. Cons: I got the woodsmoke color and after 2 wears (in dry weather), there is discoloration around the outside of my big toe on both shoes, almost like they scuffed together, but I tried to repeat where they touched and it's not a normal place for shoes to rub. Not sure what happened, but super disappointing since they are an expensive sneaker. This discoloration leads me to not recommend this product.

OK, these shoes are flat out amazing. I just received them and put them on out of the box and wow... this is what a quality shoe should feel like. They are so comfortable and I can tell there will be no break in period necessary. Now let's talk about how cute and stylish they are! I love the look of them with jeans, I know they will look great with leggings, dresses, shorts, anything really. I really don't want to take them off. They are that good. Pricey, yes. But when you reach a certain point in life, you realize that there is no substitute for quality and some brands just deliver. Nice work, Vince. I will be investing in more of your shoes in the future! Oh, and I did size a full size down because I have a narrow foot and heel and although they were snug initially, as with all quality leather they did give a bit and stretch as I have been wearing them over the last few hours and now feel perfect. If you have a wide foot, maybe only size down a half size.

Definitely get it a half size smaller than your usual size - or if you are between sizes go down a full size - very roomy. I usually wear 9, but am comfy and easy in 8-1/2. Beware of the black dye that will rub off on your feet, if you don't use a sock. Your heels need a lot of buffing with soap to get it off. All and all, smart and nerdy looking - a fun shoe.
