Whether we're sending bolted limestone or mantling sandstone boulders, we're in the Black Diamond Dirtbag Short. The tough build is both soft and stretchy for movement and resting comfort yet resists tearing and snagging against rock. Built with a low-profile elastic waist, this pair sits comfortably under our harness, and the internal drawcord lets us cinch in the fit while keeping the cord ends safely stored on the inside.

Durable Everyday Shorts

These now stick out in my closet as the go-to shorts. Very comfortable, full freedom of movement and they seem like they will be very durable!

Hard to say

Followed the fit guide and these are far too small. 31” waist and ordered a medium - fit like bike shorts. I hate sending stuff back, such a hassle.

Amazing shorts

Very comfortable shorts. Wear them all the time for bouldering in J Tree to running errands around town. Perfect comfy minimalist short. I owe three of them now.

Rugged and comofrtable

too tight to be a real dirtbag

Love the feel of the cords, super soft and nice stretchy waistband. My main complaint is the hips are too tight; I'm no wirey climber. . spend more time on my mtb (not in these shorts though!). 5'10", 165 and the med is a bit tight. I'd be swimming in a large so hoping these will stretch out.
