Bend Chelsea Boot

Really wanted to like these but they were just a bit too narrow for me so had to return them. If they had carried them in the wider width they would have been perfect.

Normally I find Birkenstock very comfortable, but not this bootie. Not uncomfortable but not up to Birkenstock standards, in my opinion.

So I ordered both sizes my regular size and one size up. I kept the size up for socks, etc. these boots have a padded section in the middle of the arch where it almost feels like it should be the arch but it’s not bc I can feel the arch too so I think it’s extra padding. Nonetheless I love them and feel they are super comfortable and a decent width. I wouldn’t call them narrow but not as wide as my regular Boston Birks. I will be buying another color bc of my plantar fasciitis and they are stylish and warm for the East Coast winters.

Normally Birkenstocks do not fit me well, and I don’t find them comfortable. These however, are fabulous! They look really cute too. I think they will work with multiple types of outfits. I like that they can be easily slipped on and off. I will use them when I travel. The lavender color is beautiful and not too bright so it should work well with anyone’s wardrobe.

I absolutely love these boots. They’re easy to get on and off. Look super cute with jeans. I am a Birkenstock girl with dozens of sandals. This is my first boot and I am so excited to try more now. The sole looks like a sandal sole but is more of a non-slip material. The insoles are very Birkenstock with a strong arch support, plus more cushion than sandals. . But(!) they are removable if you want to swap in orthotics or something softer. I did order my usual Birkenstock size but put a thin pair of socks. I’d be concerned about the arch support feeling off if I sized up.

The arch is strange and the material is tough not comfortable at all
