Strapless Mixed Media Gown

So what I will say is that this dress does run very small . For reference I am 5'5 and 180 lb and Im usually between an 8 and a 10 and I am wearing a 12 here and it was definitely a struggle to get it zipped up. But once you're realistic about the sizing and not focused on the number it's actually a quite flattering dress for someone who is curvy and may be fuller in the bust as I am . The ruching in the back gives you behind some shape and I also have a bigger hip area and it's definitely flattering. Also, with it being a little bit tighter in the corset top It definitely gives you some structure and hold which I appreciate because I probably don't have to wear a full shapewear with a bra top. If you are not curvy and have a smaller bust you're not going to find this flattering, you need the curves to give this the shape it needs . If you are petite and have to have it hemmed it probably will take away from the drama of the dress and I would not recommend it. As for someone who wrote in a previous review that it's detached from the bodice, It's actually supposed to be that way so that it can drape, that's not a mistake. Overall I think some people don't understand the design of this dress and the trend with the bodice being a different material than the drape and this whole design trend. I am wearing this for a fancy wedding in the fall. Happy with my purchase
