Design flaw
This boot is stunning! But it is designed poorly. The shaft is long and the ankle area is too narrow. The boot has no zipper making it nearly impossible to pull on. I hated to return this one. Such a shame.

Needs a zipper
In my normal boots size, I could not pull on the 'Belle' boot.
There's not enough room in the shaft.
The boot needs a zipper.

Beautiful boots.
These boots are absolutely beautiful. I was hesitant to order them because of the reviews but decided to give them a shot and so glad I did. Here is a tip for people that have a hard time getting them on, just take the plastic bags that come in the box, put a small hole in the bottom and then put them on your foot and they will slip right into these boots, then just rip the bags off. Bread bags work perfect for this also as do those plastic bags in the produce section. I have a high arch so sometimes this is a problem for me and I have used this trick on plenty of boots with no zipper. These boots are not super stiff so even without this trick I think I could have gotten them on with a little wiggle. I am usually a 9.5 but ordered a 9 which fit perfectly and are sized correctly according to the manufacturer size guide EU 40 which is my normal size.
