Bell Sleeve Mock Neck Merino Wool & Cotton Sweater

I tried this on and my husband said, "it's tight and loose in all the wrong places." Bought my usual size and it's a little snug across the shoulders. The bell sleeves are super short and because of the design you can push up the sleeves and keep them up (easy tall girl solution). I'm 6' tall with an athletic build and bought a medium. The brown color is gorgeous, almost verging on a burgundy, but not quite, very unique. It's going back, but I think more traditionally heighted ladies will enjoy this.

I’m petite with a short torso and sweaters are almost always comically oversized on me, but this one is perfect! The sleeves are a perfect length and the raglan style is a nice change from all of the dolmans and drop shoulders. I’m pretty busty so I find those silhouettes to be too overwhelming and frumpy most of the time. I went with a size Medium, but I’m debating if I want to size up for a slightly looser fit, and because it’s partially cotton and might shrink.

The fit on this was very strange. Much more cropped than the photo shows, and tight on the upper arms while belled on the wrists. Really wanted to like, but I don't think sizing up would solve the fit issues.

I sized up to a L from my normal M for a looser fit. It was a good choice. This is a lovely sweater made from natural materials. It will be good for fall and spring, but is rather lightweight and, therefore, not necessarily for the depths of winter...if you live in a cool climate.

The sleeves are short changed just enough to ruin the sweater. I was sad to get this sweater and put it on only for my arms to stick out. Otherwise, it fits true to size. It is just awkward. If you have short arms this is the sweater for you. I have average arms and I look like I'm squeezing into kids clothes, but only at the sleeves. I've never had this problem before so I am pretty confident that it is the sweater. The shoulders and body of the fit is normal.

For me this is one of the better items in the Anniversary Sale. I like the style details of this sweater a lot. Even though I’m pear-shaped, the raglan shoulders fit me well while the rest of the sweater gave me enough room thru the body. The bell sleeves are kind of cool-looking just hope they function well in the real world! Since I’m short, they’re slightly long but still wearable. I got both the gray/ivory stripe and the ivory/navy stripe. I kept the gray since I already have a lot of navy and white striped garments although I could have kept both! I also love the fact that it’s a merino (55%) / cotton (45%) blend making it ideal for transitional weather.
