The Mini Weekend Travel Bag

If you are debating between the regular and the mini weekender, I think the Mini is superior! I used this bag + the BÉIS roller carry-on luggage for a recent work trip (domestic flight) and the Mini weekender is the perfect personal item. It fits under the seat when you lay it on its back (bottom shoe compartment closest to you). The bag fit my 14” laptop, rain jacket, umbrella, toiletries, sunglasses, wallet, chargers and several snacks and a sandwich I bought from the airport. Love the trolley sleeve feature as well. I’m happy with the Atlas Pink color I chose because it is like a dusty pink color that is pretty but not too light nor prone to marks/dirt. Pic compares Sakura pink (back) vs. Atlas pink (front)

I bought this bag to hold everything I need to have close at hand on my daughter’s wedding day, like makeup bag, comfy shoes, breath mints, gum, a snack bar, clothes to change into after reception, first aid kit, water bottle, etc. The bag is well made and has strong metal zippers and zipper pulls. The adjustable strap is a nice feature as well. The solid grey color is drab and seems to be a lint magnet as stray threads and things cling to it. The biggest negative about the bag to me is how very heavy it is even totally empty. With a blow dryer and even a lightweight pair of shoes, it’s quite heavy. The feet on the bottom are a nice touch, as is the easy to wipe off vinyl bottom. I will continue to use this bag, since I now own it, but if I had to purchase another bag, I’d chose a different one.

I LOVE this Mini Weekender Travel Bag by Beis. I purchased both sizes during the Anniversary Sale and decided to keep the Mini. The reasons were 1) the mini was very roomy, opened like a doctor bag for easy access, with a padded sleeve compartment inside that fit my iPad or laptop perfectly 2)a better fit on top of my carry on bag using the outside sleeve 3) not too heavy to carry with the handle straps or cross body strap 4)a handy zip compartment on the bottom to fit my flip flops, sunscreen, hat and bathing suit for easy access upon arrival at the resort in Kaua’i, Hawaii. I highly recommend this bag!! It fit perfectly under the seat on the airplane, where the larger back may have needed to be placed in the overhead bin.
