Beaded Swirl Appliqué Gown

I purchased this dress online and was initially impressed, it’s absolutely gorgeous. However, when I looked closer before removing the tag, I noticed a loose thread on the side. Given the delicate, string-like material, pulling that thread would ruin the entire dress. For a $600 purchase, I couldn’t risk keeping a defective item, so I initiated a return. Wanting to give the brand another chance, I immediately ordered a replacement before it went out of stock. When the second dress arrived, I was again hopeful, until I opened the package. This time, the color was wrong. Instead of the rich black shown online, the dress had visible green undertones throughout, noticeable especially under bright light. I even brought it to a local dry cleaner for advice, but they confirmed it couldn’t be fixed or dry cleaned — the tag clearly states Professional Spot Clean Only. That made the dress completely unwearable. I ended up returning both dresses. It’s incredibly disappointing to receive two flawed items in a row, especially at this price point. A customer should never have to experience this level of inconsistency and lack of quality control for a luxury purchase. The design is beautiful, but the execution and inspection process clearly need improvement. I hope future customers receive the quality this brand’s reputation promises.
