Highly Recommended
I absolutely love how easy this is to use! As a first time mom it’s so convenient to be able to steam and blend foods without dirtying too many dishes.

Cheap Blades Leave Big Chunks
Wish I could return this but we've used it and my baby ripped the recipe book it came with. I had big hopes to be making lots of homemade foods for my baby with this highly rated and highly recommended Beaba Babycook but it's just not that good. The blades of the processor aren't even sharp--barely chops up soft, steamed veggies and because the bottom of the container is flat, leaves big chunks unless you stop and stir like every 10 seconds. It takes FOREVER to get a smoother consistency and even then I don't trust it enough to not strain through a sieve to catch bigger pieces. No, the strainer in the cover does not help, especially if you have a thicker puree. The steamer is fine, and I really liked the idea of not having to steam and then puree in two different appliances, but at this point I end up using just as many dishes trying to get the consistency and smoothness I want. I sometimes even have to steam some items twice to get it soft enough, even with longest steaming cycle. Wish I had spent $80 on a nice food processor instead, at least then we could use it post baby food stage. It is pretty, but other than that, pretty useless. Not worth the money, don't believe the hype!

Baby food maker
This appliance is great, very simple to use just put baby food in the strainer to be steamed then back in to blend. I love how small the appliance is too. The only reason I do not give a fifth star is because the food stains the plastic and serving spoon. For $150 I expect it to keep its color.

Fair quality
Product was a very nice color and limited edition, however after performing the recommended pre-use cleaning cycles we noticed rust on the blade and returned immediately.

Can do it all for homemade baby food!
Absolutely love this product!! It can steam, purée and reheat baby food and the single dial and notification when it is finished cooking makes it super easy to use! I prepare all the food then freeze it in the Beaba silicone containers. After it's frozen I put the food in ziplock freezer bags and label what it is and when it was prepared-then use the Beaba to reheat when it's meal time! Can be cleaned in the top rack of the dishwasher so that's helpful for a busy mama. My only improvement would be to make it larger so that you can make even more at one time. I do think they have a double Beaba now that can do that but it wasn't on sale for the anniversary sale :) Also, the rose gold color is beautiful in person!!

cleaning is tough
All is well and works perfectly fine when I want to prepare healthy and delicious purée or food for my little one within 30 mins. The only downside is cleaning. Since when I purée , it gets splattered inside walls of the lid which has to be cleaned immediately, if not it gets dried up and becomes too tough to remove that splattered purée. I wish this kid was removable from the blender , so that I can clean it whenever I make use of it.

Doesnt blend properly and Hard to Clean
I love the idea of having a steamer and blender in one. It saves us from having to use a pot and pull out our blender. However, Beaba missed the mark with this machine. For 1, if the food we put in there doesn’t steam properly it will get stuck under the blade and won’t blend properly. And the lid of the blender is not removable so it’s hard to clean it when food splashes up.
