Winter Beadnell Waterproof Jacket

absolutely in love. this was a major splurge for me (even on sale) and the quality seems to give it ‘forever piece’ status for my wardrobe. the open slip pockets shown in the model photo are my favorite feature. i marked the coat as true to size because it is meant to be a little boxy and oversized for layering - i ordered my normal US size for coats and tried it on with an oversized sweatshirt and favorite thick scarf and still had plenty of room. front pockets are large and hood is sturdy and stayed on during my test 30min dog walk today. it was sprinkling and the coat held up great and dried quickly. my only complaint is that the patterned part of the interior lining isn’t in the entire lining - it’s the hood and back-wish it extended to the sleeves/wrists for cuffing them or the sides when wearing unzipped

I purchased this in October and it was everything I ever wanted in a jacket but sadly had to be returned. The good: it’s warm enough for a PNW winter and completely waterproof. The hood is big and the breast pockets are perfect for slipping your hands in while walking. It runs big and works well over a blazer or bulky sweater. The bad: the zipper is poor quality and would stick constantly, or bust open at the bottom when I bent over. The buttons also stared tarnishing immediately. I was going to have the zipper repaired but Nordstrom alterations advised me to return it.
