Autumn Pointed Toe Ankle Strap Pump (Women)

These shoes are beautiful. They were bought to match a dress and they look lovely with it. The fit seems to run to size. The only disappointing element is the ankle strap. It appears in the photo as covered with crystals or sequin. It's actually a plastic-y strip glued to the strap. All in all, lovely shoes and very sturdy for dress shoes.

I bought both 7 1/2 and 8. I often get an eight in dress shoes because of the pointy toe, but in this case the 7 1/2 was the best for me. The shoes are so pretty. The heel was just right and was well balanced as I walked. The foot bed was had a comfortable pitch. I thought they were perfect! As I wore them around the house, I began to see exactly what other reviewers have stated. I was walking up the steps and my foot came right out of the shoe I was sitting down with my leg crossed and my foot came out of the shoe that time too. I think what happens is that the ankle strap has some give and allows your foot to pull back out of the front part of the shoes. Everything's fine when you're just standing, looking in the mirror and admiring how good your feet look... but then when you start moving, the shoes have their own ideas.
