Regina Faux Fur Jacket

This jacket is gorgeous. I got the burgundy in a medium and it’s already on its way back to Nordstrom and the small is on the way…! I’m 5’6 and 140 but the medium was very big…..cute but too oversized for my taste. I’m sure the small will be perfect. I’d say size down if you want a standard but still loose fit or order normal size for an oversized fit. So beautiful…can wait to wear!

As someone who is familiar with real fur, I have to say, this feels identical to fox fur. The hand is incredibly soft and there is the effect of the long and shorter hairs that animals have. This fiber feels like silk. It is voluminous, so keep that in mind and therefore a bit large and bulky, but it is light and beautifully made. The inside is lined with an equally luxurious feel, and there are pockets. It has three heavy duty snaps to keep it closed and maintain its shape. For the right dressy occasion and cold temperatures, this jacket is perfect. In black it is downright glamorous. I got it in black, size small.

This coat feels exactly like real fur and looks like it as well, but it is not. It feels very well-made and would be warm in the winter as well. The reason I am returning it is because of the cut. It is extremely boxy and oversized. It looks disproportionate which is absolutely disappointing. I have a hourglass shape and it adds a significant amount of width at the top of my body. Going down in size would not help because then the sleeves would be shorter and the length would be shorter as well. If it was less boxy, I would keep it in a heartbeat!
