Audrey Velvet Leather Tote Bag

Where to start? Before ordering, I contacted Ezra Arthur directly to request dimensions, since they are not listed here or on their website. It is now two weeks later and I still have not heard back from them. I took a chance and ordered this anyways. From the pictures, it looks as though this might be between the size 36 and 49 of the Garden Party. It is pretty close to the 36 size (approx. 15”L x 11”H x 7”D). I had hoped it would be larger, but would have probably kept it if that was the only issue. The leather is soft but thin, and the Honey color is nice. However, it has no shape or structure. The burgundy bag in the pictures is an Hermes Garden Party 30, and you can definitely see the difference in the structure. Given the price difference, I didn’t expect them to be identical, but when the description specifically states it’s an homage to the original, I expected better. The bag has absolutely no bottom structure at all. The bag is essentially an amorphous blob sewn similarly to the garden party. It is possible that one of the other leathers might have more structure, but I’m not going to bother ordering one. Also, the bag was sent directly from the manufacturer and they stuffed it with a stiff craft paper, such that it left indents on the leather during shipping. You can see the crease in the center of the bag in the first picture. I’d recommend skipping this one.
