Moxie Distressed High Waist Denim Cutoff Shorts

Great design. I am 5'7, wear a 27-28" jean depending on rise, 140lbs, athletic build. The 27" had quite a bit of room in the waist but is great when you want the look to be slouchy below the fly (closer to the model with the cream sweater). I ordered a 26" to replace as I feel the waist will crinkle less and will ride more at my natural waist than right on my hips...I also feel there will still be room in the legs as they are cut pretty loose. Make sure to note that the color "timeless blue" has a blue cord and the "truest blue" has the green cord.....I mistakenly ordered the timeless and reordered in the truest. The Timeless blue has A LOT of paint splashes BTW.

I’ve waited to review these shorts. I’m a senior woman and at first I was a little reluctant as far as length goes. After careful consideration and my daughter’s opinion I kept them. I literally wore them at least 4 to 5 times every week this summer. They are so comfortable and were so fun to style for festivals! I would give them 10 stars on comfort and quality. I live in the south and will be styling them with a cute sweater and boots this fall. I choose to hand wash them because I’m obsessed with taking g care of them so I can’t review machine washing them. Buy these shorts!

I tried these on at Nordstrom and the overall fit was more oversized, baggy n comfy. This pair is more fitted n a different material. 31” Was sold out. I will keep them for they will probably stretch out as most denim does. They are cute and my butt looks nice in them. They are not so comfy be snug in the waist though. Maybe by summer they will fit better.
