Great fit
Bought this with intention of everyday use in cooler weather on the North Shore. I’m 5’11” 175lbs and the medium was a perfect fit for me. I’ve worn in light rain/drizzle in the city and impressed with its ability to dry quickly once inside. The hood with the cinch strap works well. As you tighten, it snugs to your ears and the hood lowers to your head and improves your peripheral view. I have an Alpha SV and find the Atom to be a bit bulky to wear underneath for skiing but for trail/city use to be fine

Premium price, budget quality
I've have that jacket for a little over two years, but after 1 year it already started to develop piles on the back or the jacket after occasional use. I've noticed numerous over reviews have the same concern and most warranty claims seem to be declined as this company deems this issue "normal wear and tear". I feel for the premium price this jacket does not hold up how similar prices jackets from others brands have in my experience and steer me away more future purchases from this brand.

Atom - not as warm as they used to be.
This is my fifth Atom Hoody. Have gotten good life out of the last four. This newer version does not seem to provide much for warmth. Sizing feels a little baggier. Will choose a different item next time.
