Casanova Western Boot (Women)

I initially ordered this boot in 9.5 M. The size was perfect, but the width was too narrow. So, I returned them and ordered 9.5W. They fit perfectly. This is a beautiful boot. The side zipper is very helpful with getting them on. I put them on immediately and walked around the house for a couple three hours. No pain or pinching anywhere. I also had a pair of the Nordstrom slightly cushioned socks on. These socks aren’t thick, but perfect with boots. I love the boot. Will add more ARIAT boots to my collection in the future.

I’ve admired these boots for a long time, but I was concerned about the calf size—and unfortunately, that concern was justified. The calf circumference measures just over 14 inches, while mine is about 15 inches, so they didn’t fit straight out of the box. I had a local shoe store stretch them, which took about two weeks. Even after that, they’re still quite tight. I really wanted to love these boots, but the fit just isn’t there for me. With how popular this style is, I wish Ariat would offer a wide-calf option. I’m giving three stars because the quality is excellent and the boots are beautiful—but the fit falls short for me.

Bought as a Christmas present for the wife as a surprise, her face and reaction on Christmas morning was priceless, she was besotted with them, unfortunately she didn’t get to wear them as they were too small and had to be returned, (simple easy process) devastated is not the word, however a couple of months later the Casanova boots were back in stock so order a bigger size, they arrived and my wife’s reaction was the same as Christmas morning, this time they fit and she hasn’t taken them off since, obviously she has but thou get the picture, she claims they are the most comfy and beautiful boots she has ever worn, she loves to show them off to whoever shows an interest, and also to those that don’t, they don’t have a choice, needless to say they were a huge hit and the quality is unquestionable. Problem I now have is how do I top them as a gift? Maybe another pair might do 😉

I bought these boots in a the sassy brown color. They were a little tight across the top of my feet probably because of my high foot arch and I did not change my shoe size. After wearing them around the house, the leather gave a little and they became comfortable. I love them so much that and I plan to buy another pair in a different color.
