size conversion error 8.5 is actually 39.5
These ship directly from supplier which means when you discover they are too large, you have to return to actual Nordstrom instead of the Rack.
They were advertised as 8.5. the box said 8.5 and 39.5. I wear 39 in euro size. The strap couldn't be adjusted right enough to fit. Too wide as well. Felt like they were hanging off me.
As for style, the taupe looks like an the same material as an Ace bandage. My husband made a face when he saw them on me. I'm in my 40s, andi think these might be designed for an older woman. The stretchy straps might cause circulation issues if you wear them to walk. I don't know because I only tried on and then returned. But it really felt like an Ace bandage and looked it.
These are someone's style, but they definitely aren't mine.

I love these sandals…
I adore these Pamela sandals, which I bought last summer; they are the most comfortable pair I have ever found for my aging, problematic feet. The extra arch support and the stretchy cross-band make them perfect. I would happily buy another pair for the coming spring—but now I find there are none available in size 37/6. 5.
That makes me fear that the Pamela style is about to be discontinued, even though they are not yet on sale. Can Vivaia reassure me on this point?

Sandals to walk in.

Comfortable all day for walking
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought these sandals with me on a trip to Europe. I wore them all week. On my last day in Milan, I walked 38,000 steps and never got a blister or any rubbing. There was no break-in period for them, and they are easy to wear with pants, skirts, and dresses. I measured my foot according to their chart, which led me to the right size (which is a bit smaller than some of my other shoes). The straps are flexible so they can accommodate my narrower heels and wider toe box.
