Dipbrow Pomade^® Waterproof Brow Color

This product stayed on my brows and kept them in place all throughout the Southern summer. There IS a slight learning curve involved if you never used a pot cream brow product before. But with the right brush and enough practice, you can manipulate this product to either give you perfectly carved brows or natural, full brows. This is DEFINITELY NOT an out-the-door type of product, so adjust your makeup routine accordingly. It kept my brows perfect through rain, 90+ degree heat, high humidity, long bike rides, and just long days in general. Also, I have stick-straight thick brow hairs that are stubborn about staying in place, but this product helps with that. I don't even need a brow gel for this. Always keep a spoolie handy nearby to brush and blend the product through your brows so it doesn't look too unnatural.

I have been using Brow Wiz + brow powder duo, and bought this to try it out. It does stay a little better on my face than the brow wiz + powder duo, but it is NOT "smudge free". I have really sparse eyebrows so the tail ends of my brows are basically all painted on. I can still easily wipe this off with my hand after a few hours (I have oily skin), so I still have to be careful not to accidentally touch the ends of my eyebrows. It does glide on very smoothly and blend with brow hairs, as long as you use a light hand (can't emphasize that enough). Colors - I bought both DARK BROWN and CHOCOLATE to try them out and they are similarly dark in color, but you can notice a big difference between them. Chocolate is a LOT warmer (it has a very reddish tone), so I would NOT recommend it unless you have noticeable red in your hair - it looks very, very unnatural on me (I am Asian with natural brown hair, and MAC NC25 skin). Dark Brown is cooler in tone and a much better fit. I wish there was a shade just like dark brown but slightly lighter. The first few times using this I had to wipe it off and redo it because I wasn't going lightly enough, so it looked extremely obvious that my brows were drawn on. The perfect way for me is to brush it on slowly and as lightly as possible and do not dip the brush in the pomade more than once for each eyebrow - use the remainder on the brush after you've done the outer 3/4, for the inner 1/4 of your brows. It looks a lot more natural this way.

my dipbrow pomade in Blonde color arrived today & im very pleased. i tried so many eyebrow companion this one is the BEST. Its waterproof. It stays on forever till u really wash ur face. perfect for humid weather although its not humid in seattle but i have oily skin, the laura mercier in ashblonde although perfect tone but poor staying power. Anastasia on the other hand has both perfect ashblonde in blonde tone & staying power! Im 38 w thinning eyebrow almost really no eyebrow hair and my hair is Blonde this one is PERFECTION.

I gave a similar review on the Anastasia #12 Duo Brow brush, but these 2 products are major makeup game changers for me. I've spent almost 20 years drawing on my small (now overplucked) thin brows, and decided I wanted to give this a try after hearing tons of great reviews on makeup group sites. I am SO glad I did, while I still have to do a bit of "designing" of the front/inner brow, it looks a lot more precise and natural with the help of this pomade! I am one happy customer with this new addition to my makeup arsenal, definitely give it a try if you're on the fence - Nordstrom has a great return policy and the Beauty Specialists will steer you in the right direction for color and application tips!

I thought I had finally found the perfect pencil/color for my brows so I almost didn't order this....and I'm so glad I did. I thought maybe it wouldn't have enough coverage or it would feel and look waxy. I was wrong! This "pomade" is excellent. Easy to apply (sparingly), natural color, and this is the first eyebrow enhancer I have EVER bought that makes my brows look and feel fuller in addition to defining. It adheres to your brows in a very natural looking way. Just a hint for those who don't want their brows to look too dark but still need the coverage...the Blonde has A LOT more pigment than I expected from the picture. It looks more like a light brown on my brows. Also, for thinning brows, a small and firm angled brush works great. Very impressed!

Anastasia Beverly Hills products are well known throughout the cosmetic industry. Her brow products has really made a name for themselves and is becoming a fan favorite for every makeup lover! This has been a product that everyone has been raving about! From tutorials and pictures I've seen of those using this product, it's the kind of brows I want on my face. So when Nordstrom started to offer Anastasia products, I couldn't be more thrilled! Using the duo brush from the line, I just dipped my brush once and you wouldn't believe the amount of product I got from that! Just a little dip into the pot and I had enough product for both eyebrows! This is a great sign because it means this product will last a long time! The product was very smooth and glides on smoothly. Very easy to blend and correct mistakes. An important tip: Use a light hand at first touch! Make sure you try to line the shape of your brows before trying to blend the product throughout. Trust me, I was very scared when I first drew a line and saw how dark the product looked and afraid I wouldn't be able to blend, but it will get easier with practice. The product sealed onto my brows and lasted all day. When I lightly run a finger through my brows, the product didn't transfer onto my skin. The color ebony is perfect for dark brown/black hair! It's a very deep brown, not a true black so it's not harsh looking when blended. I do believe people with black hair could even use the darker brown color offered online. I recommend it to people who love a more defined, dramatic eyebrow. If you have almost perfect, semi-thick brows, I think it's a product that would pack too much color/product and make your brows look too thick and unnatural. I also recommend buying their duo brush because it's just a precise and easy to blend brush that makes drawing/filling your brows so much easier! Remember: don't pack your brush with too much product, use a light hand, and blend! Happy browing!
