Anais Satin Corset Midi Dress

Ok, first things first, WELL MADE! But SMALL!!! And a size SMALL IS LARGE?! I ordered an xS from Nordstrom’s and a small directly from their website(because Nordstrom’s was sold out.) the extra small was like… a XXXS. I had 1 1/2 inches in the back that would not zip up. At all. For reference, I’m 37, 5”4,108 lbs a 32 in bust with a Small D FULL C cup, but flat because I’ve had kids who were breast fed.. I am NOT CURVY. I’m smaller than my 15 year old daughter. I had to let all the air out of my body, put a piece of paper on my back, have my daughter pull the hem and my husband Zip, to get the XS on!! I had to wear it to a wedding because I didn’t have anything else. The bottom half of the dress fit perfect, the top half was where the issue was. And Vis versa for the size small. The size small top was literally made for my body, and the lower half was for someone who had a BBL! Ya’ll when my husband unzipped me, I gasped for air, unintentionally. I did not realize how shallow I had been breathing all night. I got many compliments, but I was DYIIIIIIING!!!!

I read the other reviews but tried anyway, ordered every size to see if it would work. Started with my usual, xs. Couldn’t zip beyond my rib cage, bottom was so ridiculously loose I’m not sure what type of body this dress is made for. Didn’t bother to try on the larger sizes because of the bottom already being too large. It’s also long. I’m only 5’3 but typically a midi dress doesn’t go to my ankles in size xs

Beautiful for a wedding! I will admit I tried on about 5 CB dresses (hit or miss with sizing) and most did not fit the curves but this one oddly enough did. I will definitely be ordering the black since it fit quite well and received a lot of compliments. I have a 34ddd bust and managed to zip it up over them. Only downside was the bones in the corset didn't keep their flat shape that well and bent due to my bust size making it curve out slightly at the waist. Overall loved it.

I’m usually a size 4 (between an XS and a S) dress and had to go up to a medium for it to zip in the chest and I’m only a size 32B (def not big chested). Then had to spend an extra $120 in alterations so the hips would not be huge and lay flat without the back creasing. Has been a nightmare and should have just returned it. Looked nothing like model when it’s on. I’m 5’3” and 115 lbs for reference. Horrible fit without alterations.
